A practical alternative (Plan E) is to buy GoWesty's (I think) aux 45 liter water tank and remove
the Westy propane tank and replace/install the under-van fresh water tank (or put one on each
side, under the van - or one gray water, one fresh water).
Now you have freed up the space IN the van (where the 60 liter fresh water tank was).  So one can
now put a regular BBQ propane tank inside the van (where the water tank was or under the sink) and
keep a small spare BBQ tank for when you run out of propane.  This is what I'm going to do with my
Dehler van's new Reimo interior.  Many European vans had the Propane tank under the sink.
