Jamie,

Fiorst, how many miles on the engine? Know any history?

Next, how do you know its just heads? Could be a piston/ring/cylinder problem instead. If it is just the one head, it would be pretty easy to fix it and see where you are three months from now without spending a lot of cash.

If miles are high on the engine, then a rebuild might make some sense...but I would not do a rebuild it the problem is simple like a single valve.

I'm no expert, but I thought a Tiico had a very different torque curve. If I was doing a gas conversion I would go with a Subaru.
