I can't tell you anything about it long term yet, but I recently had this done to my van and I'm very pleased with the results so far.

My only regret is that after the fact I found out there are a number of other clear bras out there and some are thicker (possibly protecting more) so I might have tried to go wtith those instead.

After a repaint of the front end I had a clear bra put on to cover the entire front end, from the door gaps on the left and right, and from the bumper all the way up the A pillars to the top of the van. IIRC the job cost $275 Canadian plus tax. In retrospect I think the guy underestimated the difficulty of the job.

For a vanagon you'll want to get an installer with LOTS of experience, The guy who did my van really knew what he was doing but said that no one else in the shop would have tried it because of the many sharp varainces and angles.

Chris

P.S. I'm too lazy to find out if this is near the bay area but the only installer I know in California (and I have no personal experience with them) is:

StickerCity.com 4638 Van Nuys Blvd. Sherman Oaks, CA 91403
