Jeff, OH, wait I see your problem with the fuel pump noise is just at start up. My bad. Yeah, if you mean you hear it buzz before the engine is running when it gets it's initial electric pulse this is normal as others have already said. I would still be concerned if you hear your pump while the engine is running. And that is to say if you hear it from the driver's seat or while standing outside the bus. Of course if you get right up under the pump or listen at the floor where the pump is mounted you will hear it. So, just enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and forget about the roadside in ELKO.
