Subject: Interstate Battery Update

My MT-41 Megatron Battery from Interstate finally crapped last week after using up 47 of the 60 months of warranty. Went to local dealer to get a new one and it was $86.95 with the old one headed to battery heaven. They ordered it and when I went to pick it up, they told me that the Interstate truck delivery guy said they don't make the MT-41 anymore with it's 600 CCA. Instead, they have a newer Megatron Plus (part number MTP-91) to replace it for $10 more. 85 month warranty now and 750 CCA and 875 CA. The nice folks at Smitty's Tire and Appliance hear in town was nice enough to honor the old price. Minus the leftover warranty prorated I got out of there for $65 and change. I will be back for another battery from them when ever I get the 4kq running.
