Am I the only one that hopes to avoid a lengthy gun flame war on this list?

I am just as guilty as some, and maybe more so, of posting messages with
little or even no Vanagon content, but posts about politics, religion,
Gay & Lesbian rights, and guns usually spiral out of control. Feelings
run high on those subjects. I, for one, would wish that this topic be
taken offline.
