Thanks again everyone, I got that master/slave relationship mixed up, but
the right parts identified anyway.  I will be getting a new slave cylinder
and installing it when we have a nice break in the weather here.  I found a
bunch of good info when I did a google search for doing it, doesn't look too
bad.
