Subject: Families - what do they know?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

I was having a discussion with my brother and my father on Saturday. I love my family but we couldn't be more opposite - my brother however IS my dad in a younger form. Anyhow, they were telling me I needed to get the 85 hauled away and out of my driveway. I couldn't for the life of me make them understand that while it may not have monetary value, it has a lot of value to me and I would rather get it running again. They just didn't get it.

Then again this was coiming from my brother who always has to have the latest and greatest of everything and my dad who has an RV the size of a freighter. I was wishing I had at least one bus loving person with me at the time though.

Another bit of bus stuff. I took my son to an N scale train exhibit at the local museum. One of the scenery sets had an old junk yard - and there in that yard in tiny little N scale was a Splittie. I thought it was cool.
