Most commonly this happens when there is a problem with the high pressure oil switch or the wire connecting it to the dash.

Does the oil light work normally other than this?

Turn off key. Wait 30 seconds. Turn on key but don't start. Oil light should blink blink blink........ Start engine, blinking should stop, does it?
