I respectfully slightly disagree with the first paragraph :). I have BOTH books here in front of me, and "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive" Is by John Muir. This was published first edition in 1969, mine is twentieth printing, August 1978, still has original price sticker $5.99. "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Rabbit Alive" is by Richard Sealey, came out in May 1980, from John Muir Publications. John Muir died in November 1977. Interesting aside I should look into, at the end of the book, is a list of their other publications, one of which is "A Guide to Dying At Home".
