I bought one of these from a lister, took it to Amerigas where I usually fill my other tank, told them I wanted to add it to my van under the sliding door, and plumb it. They said that since the "tag" was missing it was illegal and they couldn't fill it, touch it, mess with it. I know another lister who refinished this same condition tank, painted it the stock off-white color and has had no problems having it recharged for years. His is also an under-door aux. tank.

I ended up buying a new Manchester and eliminated the mystery.

I'm in Utah.
