When I put a new instrument cluster in my '84 Vanagon, someone sent me a
diagram of wiring change that needed to be made at 14-pin connector to keep
oil pressure buzzer from sounding and to handle the tachometer.  Now there
is apparently another step that I should have taken as outlined my Mark
Drillock.  Can someone post complete lists of changes that need to be made
when new instrument cluster goes in '84 Vanagon.
