pressure testing the system would give you a chance to look around under the valver covers without dealing with hot exhaust pipes and such. You would need the adapter to mate up the bottle to the tester What did you use to seal the head nuts? I have have always used factory sealants on clean dry parts and checking the inside of the head nuts for old sealant is a good idea. A cracked head would more likley fill the cylinder or leak a mark on the ground my guess is a weeping nut under the cover good luck
