First of all, does your oil warning light work? That means, when the engine is off for a little while and you turn the key on, does the oil light come on? Does it stay on until the engine is started and then go out? If so, the basic low rpm pressure circuit is working. Assuming a working oil light at low engine speed if your oil warning buzzer is going off above 2000 rpm then you can consider the slight modification I suggested. There is more than one way to accomplish the same result and it is possible that you have already done one of the other methods, involving grounding the high rpm signal line.

Note, we are only talking about the issues when using a 86+ dual oil pressure system instrument cluster foil in an 85 or older van or with any year van that now has an engine with only one oil pressure switch. Subaru engine people have the same issue as do many TD and TDI conversions.
