This is hard for me to believe. The box is only galvinized steel on three sides. The front of the box is just the carpeted edge of the driver's seat. The box is not sealed in any way. Melting ice would run all over the floor. Also, the same galvinized material is used under the z-bed. I know that is not intended to be an ice box. The area under the jump seat may make a nice ice box if it were lined with a water proof plastic tub. Do you have a link to a copy of the literature?

The space under the flip up seat is lined in galvanised metal and has a drain. If you look in the sales brochures, they describe it as an "Icebox". The galvy kept making me wonder, so I looked it up.
