that's pretty interesting. Looks like they've got a heat exchanger to provide preheated intake air for the carb. I've been wondering about exhaust differences between the 2.0 AC engine and the WBX. Been a while since I've looked at one but I'm pretty sure they are like this one which is the same as the old beetle engine. While the wbx has a more sophisticated looking 4 into 2 into 1 header arrangement. I wonder how much that WBX system is optimized for scavenging, etc. compared to the old AC engines?
