I light on the ceiling helps.  One of those push on push off types works, or
now, with all the LED stuff the Dot Light or the bigger/better/cheaper LED
lights from Costco.  Really helps even in the daylight.  Some have put in
shelves.  I use Space Bags for things that will compress like down jackets,
clothing, extra bedding, etc.  But whatever I need is always on the bottom
:)
