My dear and good friend Frank! on those picture, do the o-ring look cooked? http://www.benplace.com/bjp_head2/head3_003.jpg http://www.benplace.com/bjp_head2/head3_004.jpg

No, same for 90% of the van i do, BUTTTTT, i fully agree with you on replacing those wile there. This is why when you push back the sleeve in, MAKE SURE they are not comming out again wile doing another cylinder!!!

Well, at least I'm still your good friend ! I would hate to go to Zamora with an enemy (:-)) Your just LUCKY to have found engines with soft, supple cylinder bottom 0-rings. Like I said, none of the engines I've taken apart were. So......even if they were soft and resilient enough to seal again, how would you know that until you have a look, measure them against a new one, what ? Are you a gambling man ? Not me, I've been bitten in the ass far too many times and have learned the Murphy Law long ago, If it can go bad it WILL ! So.....just change the 0-ring and be happy, happy, happy ! AND, if that does not make you happy, I have a few good bottles of genuine Mexican Tequila here, not the kind of stuff you get at the Canadian Liqueur stores either.

Cheers,
