i put a aircooled metal vanagon engine lid in my 84 van..  i ripped out all
that nasty mouse fuzz insulation and went to a speed shop and got some
aluminized heat/flame resistant firewall insulation..its a peel and stick deal. ...
the kind they use on racecars under the hood..

makes my van feel like a racecar
