John:

If you turn the key "on" and do not get dash lights, fuel pump run, etc, look at your battery, ignition switch, etc.

If you do get normal behavior at "on" but nothing at "start", then look at your starter. No 'click' back there probably means a gummy solenoid. Archives have lots on that. I know---my syncro won't do anything below ~20 and from 20-35 there is a delay while the solenoid pushes through the muck to start-- 1-2 seconds.
