Actually Jake, it has the correct engine for the vehicle. This is a Canadian Standard model, which was not available in the US. It is the same as the European standards, 1200 CC, no chrome at all, swingaxle tranny, no flow through vents like a 70 bug should have. I'll send you pics if you're interested. They are a CalLook bug without doing any mods. :-) The bug is all stock except for a ghia disc frontend, lowered, and with Porsche alloy rims. There is a 2276CC 160HP engine sitting in my workshop for it, but I can't get motivated to finish it. :-)
