I have the plans for the Phoenix Camper and for the Boonie Bug. Got them in the early '80's. The Phoenix Camper appeared in an issue of Hot VW's in the '80's. I was intrigued at the time, that is why I bought the plans. At the time I knew nothing of Vanagons, but now I wonder if a Vanagon would be a good basis for building a Phoenix Camper.
