RE: '84 Mystery Overheating On earlier Vanagons the temp meter/indicator would rise/peg from errors at the coolant level sensor and turn on the light. Later models will just light the indictor light but not peg the needle, the needle will still indicate temperature. You may be seeing problems with the level sensor only and not actually seeing an overheating problem. |
