take off door panel and adjust bowdoin cable, the cable that connects front latch with rear latch. (its in the bentley)

The back of the slider will pop open every so often when I hit a bump. I tried adjusting the striker and thought I had it licked, but it came back again after a few weeks. Last week the door actually slid all the way open! It had popped open slightly, as it has many times, on the way home on the interstate. After stopping at the end of my exit ramp, I sort of peeled out and -whoosh- the door opened completely! This has never happened before, but I was also never able to develop any significant acceleration before I got a 2.5l Subaru engine 6 months ago. Is my problem the latch? I've seen these at Bus Depot and they aren't too expensive.
