LA AND SD are both really hard places to drive a rolling brick.. little lightweight cars cut in and out and others zip around tring to half wheel eachother in traffic.. I grew up driving in both areas and even the bayarea. now in Vegas getting like KALFORNIA..lol T2 monster truck fest!! race me cat and mouse.. hehe ok ok.. i'll stop.

I remember the day on i880 was doing 70 in the fast lane and someone break checked me in my 85 and i was all over the road but almost rolled felt the rear on the bus swing way out and was like holding onto the wheel just ridin her out.. did not roll.. knock on wood but it was an eye opener to get new shocks/springs.. swaybars are still needed i feel.. and slow down!!

anyway i just chill and drive in the right as much as possible these day.. todays car are not like our stone hinge bricks :) would not drive anything new except the new GTI * WINK *

BTW I watched my wife drive our 85 and i followed her, dang that lady can make that bus move LOL.. its a 4speed.. maybe all the years she drove it helped her become a better driver i feel.
