I'm not sure what that would accomplish. In my setup the air coming out of my heater is well over 125 degrees (human pain threshold). From what I've seen, the lack of heat in an AC vanagon is caused by two things -problems in the heating system which falls under maintenance, and the fact the Volkswagen didn't put an electric blower in the circuit. The first you can take care of easily enough, and as for the second, it also is not very difficult to put a fan in the heat duct system to blow more air when the engine is at low RPMs

The purpose of the liquid in a heating system is merely to transport the heat energy from one place to another; the existing ductwork does that already, just like the furnace in your home. If the heat you are getting is not enough, shove in a 12 V. blower. I've found that there is lots of space up front, just above the spare tire.
