Subject: Wiring question 84 westy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

I'm almost finshed swapping my westy interior into my bus and I'm wondering about the wiring harness fo the level indicators, 12 volts to fridge and water pump. Bentley shows this supply as coming from the dash, while in my parts van there is a relay under the drivers seat, where the second battery would go (hookup not supplied in my parts van). My manual doesn't show this relay, and I'm wondering what purpose it serves. I would have thought the suply would go straight to the main 12v system as there are two fuses in a sepearte fuse box mounted on the wall.
