I have to share.

I've been looking for a project A2 GTI and put an ad out on Craigslist looking for one...

Got a call from a guy here in town with a '92 8 Valve, Alpine White, 160k miles, no wrecks, no rust, good interior, service records, etc.; it was his and his wife's "economy commuter car," as he put it.

But lately it won't start and they don't have much use for it. It appears to be a Digifant issue; I see many vacuum leaks, among other things.

$500. I pick it up today. Woohoo!

It's going to be weird driving the Vanagon to the parts store to get stuff for a completely different disassembled vehicle! ABA bottom-end swap, here I come...

Pictures to follow on my website as soon as I get started, for anybody interested.

Joe T.
