for locations, California is, of course, the highest local for selling buses. :) followed by Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and Pennsylvania. ALL u.s. states have had at least one vanagon for sale! :) even washington, dc.

canada had 63, sweden 3, germany 9, austria 1, UK 4, and south africa 1. 5 are from unknown locations ... didn't put where they were, and i couldn't figure it out from the email or ad. :( -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1980-1985 vanagons, of which i have 1143

1980 - 7.5 percent 1981 - 11.9 percent 1982 - 17.6 percent 1983 - 9.5 percent 1984 - 26.9 percent 1985 - 26.5 percent

for transmissions, 71.1 percent 4-speeds of all types 20.6 percent automatics of all types 0.6 percent unknown 7.7 percent diesel (don't know if 4-speed or 5-speed)

for body types, 0.5 percent unknown (don't know if GL or Camper or what) 8.7 percent L 19.0 percent GL 1.4 percent Wolfsburg Limited Edition 4.1 percent Camper 26.6 percent Camper L 34.2 percent Camper GL 3.9 percent Custom Camper (Adventurewagon, Country Homes, Dehler... not Westfalia)

1.1 percent Double-cab Pickup 0.5 percent Single-cab Pickup 0.3 percent Ambulance

and the locations are the same ol' story as the 86-93. but for other-than-u.s., i have only 28 Canadian and 5 German.

have fun. :) unca joel
