Hi Dylan, My parents acquired a 1985 sunroof 8-passenger vanagon this summer. It doesn't have a deflector, and I don't think it needs one. I've ridden in front and back at a variety of speeds with the roof open and didn't notice any problem with wind noise. At least not any worse than having the drivers window open. It just seems to get a bit harder to have a conversation between the middle seat and the driver. I've also piloted and ridden in a baywindow sunroof, and they are the same way. It's almost as nice as a convertible, but with a LOT more cargo space. Happy Trails, Greg Potts 1973/74/77/79 Westfakia "Bob The Tomato www.pottsfamily.ca
