Thanks to Tabe and Sam for the encouragement! With the nice notes Sam sent I went out and moved all the wires, pounded on the starter through the wheel well, and then noticed the wire had fallen off the starter! So I put on my grubbier clothes and crawled under, put it back, and voila! I'm so excited I can make it to teach my clinic on the penninsula! Here is a funny story. I used to run kayak trips in Mexico of up to ten days each (self supported). My boss used to leave me a combe (?) van at the end for a shuttle. One day I showed up after running an all women's trip (being female) and it wouldn't start. It seemed to be a fuel issue so I took off the fuel pump, took it apart, looked at it, blew on it, put it back on, and it started! Everyone was so happy, just like me today. Andree
