I can't answer your questions but am curious to hear the answers. It is a little cold here to drive with the sunroof open and since I just purchased my Sunroof Syncro in October I have not had much opportunity to do so. I am aware of the baffle(buffet might be more accurate term) that you speak of as the same effect occurs in our Passat 4motion wagon and our old Audi 200 Quattro wagon. I look forward to using the van and having the roof open next summer(weather permitting) and hope that a cure for the effect is available. On the Audi or Passat we cure it by partially opening a side window and this may do it for the van as well.
