Chris, The TEMPII sensor is a real good candidate. There are some wires/traces under the distributor that become brittle with age.If you are not real careful unplugging the dist you can damage them. O2 sensor and/or associated wiring could be a problem but usually does not affect starting. Try unplugging it. How about the idle position sensor? Can you hear it click on and off? The idle control module could be fried or the idle valve could be gummed up. That should keep you busy for an afternoon. Let me know what you find. Ken Lewis http://neksiwel.20m.com/ |
