Type 3s are the Notchback, Fastback & Squareback of the sixties and Type 4s
are the 411 & 412 which some list members like a lot.
The Vanagon was called, variously, the Transporter, T3, T25, Caravelle,
Volksiebus and more that I disremember right now.
They came as panel vans, hightop work vans, 7, 8 & 9 passenger vans, single
cabs, double cabs, wide bed pickups & many different varieties of campers,
but they're all Type 2s.
