Question for the list masters. Last time I had my van in the shop, the mechanic said the clutch lever has play because the hole in the lever gets worn over time to an egg shape and the lever moves there before it begins to engage the clutch. That got me thinking maybe there is a clever fix for this problem that doesn't involve pulling and replacing the lever which sounds like an unpleasant job. Is there a simple vanagonlist fix for this?
