Another thing: if it comes on and won't go off, and the level is fine and you know the engine isn't overheating and so forth, pop the instrument cluster top, reach behind the flashing light and press with your fingers. Mine occasionally stays on and this turns it off. I don't know if it's my skin discharging the capacitor or not, or what it is, but it works.
