I had a similar leak on my '90 GL, about 3 quarts in three days of back and forth to work. The whole rear of the van was covered, with oil dripping off the lower edge of the rear hatch. It was the oil pressure sender behind the water pump pully. I removed the pulley and used a 24mm deep socket. There is an adapter piece that came off with the sender, at first I thought that I had got the wrong sender. There is a large copper washer/seal ring behind the adapter as well as the seal ring behind the sender. My 24mm deep socket was too long to use with my 1/2 drive ratchet. The rear sheet metal interferred with the ratchet. I ended up using a 1/2" drive breaker bar at an angle to get it most of the way snug and then tightened with a 15/16 deep socket that had a hole sideways through it. I've since bought a 15/16 3/8 drive deep socket that is shorter and should work OK ( Chraftsman # 43328). Get the correct sender, there are different ones. Dave
