Highway 97 is a nice alternative to I-5 on the west coast in OR/WA and a fun way to see the interior of BC.

97 goes from Weed, Ca to the Yukon where it connects to the Alaska Highway at the BC/Yukon border.

Along the way it goes through central OR, WA, and much of central BC, in fact, there is over 2,000 km (1,250 miles) of highway 97 in BC alone...
