I agree with having 5 in-rotation. But, I also have a tire puncture repair "kit" and pump to deal with" ordinary" flats. I haven't had to put it into service YET (that ought to put it into service!). Unless I have a more serious puncture or sidewall slash-type failure, I can see the benefit of just being able to repair the tire without removing it/changing tires enroute.

Just so you know there are alternatives until you can get a 5th wheel, which is recommended with Syncro's.
