so I am going to install a normal battery as an aux battery. but, can someone explain me the outgassing? the starter battery location in my westy has a quarter sizedd hole to the wheelwell, which is protected by a little piece of bent metal so that not too much dirt comes in. so do you build something like this on the drivers side as well for the aux battery? I do not see what loren refers to with a with the vent hose... where should that be?

thanks flo
