I just received a new Lee Valley Tool catalog and they're selling a kit to slow down the decent of their Murphy bed kit. It consists of 2 good size struts and a bag of hardware. I'm going to see it tomorrow with a measuring tape. The good news is that my good friend Malcolm Stebbins and I parted out an old westy and the carcass complete with pop top is still here and would make a great experimental van to try to fit the kit.. I'll keep you posted. Jeff.
