My 3 gauge setup consists of oil pressure, Volts, and water temperature (Equus electrical gauges). I have the Voltage gauge running to a spdt switch so I can switch between aux battery or main battery with a center off position. The main battery doesn't need the center off as it senses 12 volts from an "ignition on" source. Mike

Is the reason that these seem to always be controled by a switch because they draw so much current that they would drain the battery quickly? > > Has anyone attached an ampmeter to their aux battery, or to their regular Vanagon electric system? > > > Todd > '88 Westy > |
