How about an international money order? I receive them all the time, and at least in the US, they work like a champ. You might need to purchase several since there is a limit.

I also have accepted checks in US funds from trusted sources. I don't know how that would work the other way.

Traveler's Cheques?

Heck, I've even done cash before (but not for that amount!)
