Still looking for left rear aero-style bumper end. My 89 GL would much appreciate it.
Re: XM and Sirius announce merger
It was never meant to be an argument. My feelings hurt? seriously? I still disagree about the relevance. I know it's not a data base. To me it is/should be an exchange of useful information between peers about one topic- vanagons. I am afraid anyone who wants to condescend, or be a pretentious smart-ass can suck my diesel vanagon's tailpipe.

I am not attacking you personally. I am just pointing out I simple don't seem to care about these types of arguments.
The fact is, this particular conversation has a strong following on this list from when some guy was trying to make money giving these things away and did so to many list members. A very high percentage of Vananut have these stupid radios (and support the decadant lifestyle of Howard Stern), so I am afraid this is a list oriented discussion.
If all you want is info on Vanagons, use the search features on the list database. Ain't nothing that hasn't been run into the ground here when to comes to our vans. Nuthin. If you want to know, it's in there.
This is a community, not a database. Communities are fluid, databases are structured.
My apologies your feeling are hurt.

You would have chewed me up and spit me out? Why? Is it because I think
having a bunch of clutered off-topic mail defeats the purpose of having a
vanagon mailing list? Why are people attacking me personally? What did I
do/say that was so wrong?
