Hi ListVolks, I'm replacing the plastic ball halves and shell that goes into the shifter pivot (mounted on the floor) - - the Bentley says to lube everything with moly grease. First question: Is there something better than moly grease to use these days? Also, I can't quite figure out from the picture (35-679, pg. 34.5) exactly what is being measured (distance 'a') - - or (2nd question), will this be a no-brainer once I get it all back in? So far I've got the shells back in their rubber housing and all pushed back into the metal dealie. Won't be putting the rest in for a day or two, until things here either dry out or warm up. Thanks, Gary
