That was for sale for $750 in East Oakland. Seller bought it and replaced the top. it was pretty ratty inside when I saw it. Had an ASC poptop. Engine install did not look very sanitary at the time. I disagree that it was professionally installed as the present seller represents in his new ad. The former owner said he and his father did the conversion in their back yard. The rear engine carrier looked horrible then. Maybe it has been replaced since the present seller says it has new motor mounts. The engine opening was also cut to clear the pulley for the alternator. It does look better with the Westy top. It used to have an ASC top and a wooden platform inside. Not sure if it was originally a Westy. It had Maryland plates IIRC. Now has California plates. I was told by former owner that it was a California van that was taken back east then brought back here. Anyway, earlier last week it was for sale for $4500. Price was just lowered to $3900. Could be the hot ticket for a Chevy fan.
