Why am I being attacked for wanting to be able to use a mailing list that isn't cluttered with off topic information? Why do I have to spend my time reading headings and filtering? As a list user, I personally would rather not spend time filtering off topic messages. I do though because I have to. What you are referring to is not "my way", it is the way I understand the list is supposed to work as outlined in the welcome message we all received upon joining the list. You say "let the moderator do his job". Hmm seems not to long ago the moderator was doing his job in regards to the whole off topic "Linux" discussion. That was only a few weeks ago and some still choose to disregard what the moderator had to say in that whole mess. That's fine, I'll keep deleting, filtering, whatever. It was just a plea on my part, to try to keep things less cluttered and more useful/ pertinent.
