Except for cores, brake parts should not be obtained from recyclers. Are you sure the noises are from the brakes? Bad ball joints and upper control arm bushings will often become known from noises while braking. I doubt the anti squeal and rattle shims, or springs, or top paltes will stop loud clunks. You have to inspect the calipers and pads for proper fitt. Heavily corroded calipers may have been filed or just become worn so that the pads are not properly supported. The shim kits, and rebuitl calipers are still available. "Loaded" calipers`will usually be complete with all hardware and pads. Just bolt them up, bleed them and go. Or Stop!
