Whether it is effective on sealing gasket to metal interfaces(head problem), or just metal to metal (radiator), is a question in my mind.

The problem with head leaks, according to my own current Vanagon Religious Belief System (LOL), is prevented by:

A) Using proper, phosphate free antifreeze with distilled(not tap) water. B) Changing out the antifreeze regularly. C) Fixing any head problems (pits) that may have occurred from previous leaks.

I suspect since the proper antifreeze was not available when the waterboxer first came out, all heads that haven't been replaced or re-surfaced are likely to leak again.
