I don't remember the eye candy tool catalogs.

I do remember about 1966, going down the

street to the full service gas station.  And,

at that service station was one of the first

diagnostic computers, with a live Japanese

tech there trying to make a living  I'm sure

there was still xenophobia in our little backwoods

neighborhood.  I was intrigued of course,

this was very much before anyone saw any

japanese cars.  I did have a japanese made

transistor radio that I would listen too at

night. I'm sure the brand of computer diagnostic

machine was Sun.   I think anyway.  First 

wave of Japanese technology which certainly

kicked our Detroit butts.  My first post in

thirty days, as I feel quite overwhelmed by

the degree of knowledge and experience

represented here.
